A combination of work and play constitutes the physical development of our students. Each student is employed for a portion of each day where their mental and physical skills can be put to practical use. Additionally, recreation in the form of an organized intramural program is held three times per week with additional recreation periods occurring on most weekends. Sabbath afternoon hikes are a frequent way for students to get exercise while enjoying God's creation.
Academic rigor is a benchmark of Fletcher Academy. While the standard is set high, helping students achieve their academic goals is a priority for our teachers. Our academic program is accredited through AdvancEd (formerly known as Southern Association of Colleges and Schools) and meets all the requirements of a college preparatory program. Students can enroll in dual credit college classes their Junior and Senior year and graduate with college credits.
At the heart of any successful Adventist school is the spiritual program. From engaging Bible classes to thoughtful religious services to meaningful outreach opportunities, students at Fletcher have opportunities to grow in their understanding and love for Jesus. Students are in a safe place to ask questions and receive loving biblical responses from a staff and a community that seeks their good.
Making a Difference
We selected Fletcher for several reasons: solid Christian standards, history of a strong spiritual mission, good academics, and the potential for a variety of employment options--work is education!
